About the jobThe Capital One Travel team at Hopper built and maintains a multi-billion dollar travel portal. As the Senior Product Manager, Customer Experience, you will partner with a team of Engineers and Designers to deliver a best-in-class digital travel experience. You will write business cases to frame new opportunities, own a product development roadmap, lead sprint planning, and obsess over customer feedback to prioritize product enhancements and new feature launches. You will work in a fast-paced environment and be responsible for driving real impact.
What would your day-to-day look like:
- Conduct product discovery to inform new feature development, ingesting feedback from multiple channels, ensuring engineering capacity is spent on the most critical features.
- Create and maintain a product development roadmap that clearly highlights the customer and business impact.
- Partner with a diverse team to develop and deploy customer-facing features (Design, Engineering, QA, Legal, Finance, Marketing, B2B Clients).
- Manage engineering sprints, test, and launch new features.
- Facilitate learning. Hypothesize and A/B test critical features to drive understanding and seek product-market fit.
- Obsess over data. Become intimately familiar with customer behavior, incentives, and purchase patterns.
- Own the experience. Think strategically about how to disrupt travel and deliver delightful experiences.
- Make sense of customer feedback to form a cohesive feedback loop.
An ideal candidate has:
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably with a consumer-facing product.
- Strong product sense for user experience and design.
- Highly proficient analytical abilities to draw accurate conclusions from data (SQL proficiency is a plus).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to work with external partners.
- Ownership and pride in their work, is uncomfortable with poorly developed products.
