Karbon is looking for a Senior Product Manager with experience in accounting, small business workflows, and cloud accounting platforms. This role develops products for Client Accounting Services, including bookkeeping, accounting, and payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define product vision and manage the roadmap.
- Customer & Market Understanding: Understand workflows and nurture relationships with customers.
- Execution & Delivery: Deliver functional, delightful, and scalable features. Drive integration opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with go-to-market teams and monitor outcomes.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of product management experience in SaaS or financial software.
- Background in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.
- Understanding of workflows between accountants and small business clients.
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar platforms.
- Understanding of an accounting firm’s month-end close process.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
- Prior experience at a SaaS company serving accountants or small businesses.
- Familiarity with practice management, payroll, or tax workflows.
- Experience building integrations with financial systems.
