Full-Time Senior Product Owner

About Our Client: Leading global agricultural company specializing in plant breeding, seed solutions, innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation. Operates in over 70 countries.

Responsibilities:

1. Market and Competition Analysis: Conduct market and competition analysis, understand industry needs, and clarify assumptions during client interactions.
2. Business Landscape Analysis: Analyze current state and define future product environment through workshops, stakeholder interviews, etc.
3. Discovery & Delivery Alignment: Connect business insights with delivery processes, ensuring alignment with business domain and goals.
4. Requirements Streamlining: Document and clarify functional, non-functional, and technical requirements. Define and document business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
5. Roadmap Execution: Define product roadmap, aligning priorities with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
6. Scope Validation & Adaptation: Analyze requests, assess impact, and ensure alignment with project delivery and commercial viability.
7. User-Centric Design: Define user personas, conduct interviews, map user journeys, prioritize based on user value.
8. Collaboration Facilitation: Lead workshops, document outcomes, and foster alignment between stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
9. Tool Assessment & Optimization: Evaluate and enhance digital tool efficiency, usability, and business impact. Analyze current capabilities, identify improvements, and recommend strategic optimizations.
10. Decision Support: Provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic investment decisions.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong stakeholder influence & alignment skills
• Proven analytical and consultancy skills in complex environments
• Comfort with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Independent work, proactive deliverable management
• Fluency in English
• German language proficiency (nice to have)
• Technical background in IT systems/software development (nice to have)
• Agriculture background or knowledge (nice to have)
