Full-Time Senior Software Engineer

Mirantis is seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our development team!

We build enterprise software addressing operational and security challenges of managing cloud-native platforms like Kubernetes, providing enterprise customers integrated tools for running containerized workloads with Docker.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing features/enhancements in Go for our Mirantis Kubernetes Engine product.
• Collaborating with customers and product management to improve existing products and build the next generation of our cloud-native platform.
• Working closely with teammates in design, code, and test plan reviews to build robust software and share knowledge.
• Becoming an expert in bleeding-edge cloud technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS).
• Implementing and maintaining unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Contributing to agile methodologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Go programming experience or experience in another modern production application language.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, and their networking/storage cloud-native technologies in production environments.
• 2+ years of Linux/Windows Server experience.
• Experience with or ability to learn public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
• Passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and work through to completion.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex distributed systems.
