Strategic Sourcing Manager Responsibilities:
Provide value by meeting annual savings targets, reducing contractual risk, and satisfying stakeholder requirements.
Develop strong internal business unit relationships and drive enterprise-wide sourcing, category management, and contract negotiation.
Manage work stream and supplier contracts, from project development to contract signature.
Navigate sourcing processes efficiently.
Craft new vendor engagement, renewal processing, and stakeholder enablement strategies.
Achieve department and company-wide KPIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive best value supplier selection for over $600M spend.
- Demonstrate category management and sourcing experience (HR, Finance, Tax, Contingent Workforce, Sales, GTM, Benefits, Workplace Services, Facilities, Real Estate, Security).
- Ensure sourcing is a value-add to the business, governing spend and reducing risk.
- Manage and advise on sourcing and contracting processes (evaluating, negotiating, contracting, renewing).
- Identify, evaluate, and implement sourcing industry trends.
- Strengthen partnerships with business functions for valuable consultation.
- Develop strong strategic advisor relationships with legal to ensure best-in-class contracting.
- Build and maintain a world-class team.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years in strategic and operational sourcing & procurement.
- Category Expertise: Professional Services (IT Services, Contingent Workforce, Consulting, etc.).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship building, project management, customer service, analytical thinking, strategic planning, creative problem-solving.
- Knowledge: Contract development, legal issues, business-oriented financial concepts.
- Communications: Concise and impactful written and verbal communication.
- Other: Relevant industry designations (CPP, CPPM), MBA preferred.
Compensation: $137,500 - $240,700 base salary + equity, variable compensation, benefits.
