Job Summary: Synergy Enterprises, Inc., a woman-owned government contractor is seeking Senior Technical Assistance & Training Specialist to work remotely. The Senior Technical Assistance & Training Specialist will closely work with project staff to provide written, in-person, and virtual technical assistance, develop publications and print dissemination items, conduct initial and ongoing needs assessments, assist cohorts of educational grantees, and track, analyze, and report data.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the provision of high-quality technical assistance (in-person, online, and by phone) to a range of clients.
- Develop informational products (fact sheets, written technical assistance, toolkits, and guidance documents).
- Lead working group discussions for practitioners (in-person and virtual).
- Identify and deliver new methods for providing technical assistance and products based on needs assessments and data.
- Conduct literature reviews and research on emerging education issues.
- Conduct research for operational challenges and develop complementary technical assistance methods.
- Provide direct support to cohorts in administering educational programs.
- Develop and deliver virtual and in-person trainings (webinars, virtual meetings, online courses, videos, conference presentations).
- Represent the TA Center professionally at events and meetings (virtual and in-person).
- Track and analyze data for monthly reports.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or PhD in Education or Social Science.
- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web-based databases.
- Proficient with virtual meeting platforms (e.g., Zoom, Adobe Connect).
- Demonstrated skills in research, data collection, and analysis (knowledge of Qualtrics preferred).
- Content expertise in K-12 Literacy Instruction, professional development for educators, and working with State Education Agencies.
- Strong time management, multitasking, organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
- Understanding of online data collection forms.
- Additional skills (grant management, reporting, evaluation, and communications) are a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work throughout the standard workweek and often on weekends.
- Ability to travel (approximately 20% of time, depending on need).
Physical demands: Occasional standing, walking, sitting, handling objects, reaching, talking, hearing, and lifting up to 10 pounds. Close vision required. Use of office equipment (telephone, computer, software, calculator, printer, copier, fax).
Work environment: Moderate noise level; no substantial exposure to adverse conditions.
