About the Position: As Director – Financial Reporting & Technical Accounting, you will be responsible for all aspects of the Company's external reporting (10K, 10Q, 8K, lender reporting, and other management reporting). This role will manage technical accounting areas (stock-based compensation, earnings per share, budget/forecast), play a key role in new disclosure guidance implementation, and validate data accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial report preparation (internal statements, quarterly lender reports, SEC reports). Manage external filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Analyze and maintain supporting documentation for external reports.
- Benchmark disclosures to leading practices.
- Prepare the cash flows statement.
- Maintain Global Accounting Policies consistent with US GAAP.
- Conduct technical accounting research/documentation.
- Implement and deliver technical accounting training.
- Maintain internal controls to ensure process compliance.
- Assist with audit process and ensure financial statements adhere to US GAAP.
- Manage XBRL tagging, review tag selections, and tie-out filings.
- Manage stock-based compensation files and budget/forecast.
- Prepare quarterly/annual earnings per share calculations.
- Implement process improvements/automation.
- Support M&A efforts (due diligence through integration).
- Handle special projects, as required.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of corporate accounting experience, including US GAAP and SEC reporting, and SOX internal controls.
- Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- Active CPA (US) required.
- SEC reporting experience required.
- Excellent understanding of internal controls and SOX.
- Strong US GAAP knowledge and applications.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Experience with SAP and OneStream applications a plus.
- Strong business acumen, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple demands, meet deadlines, and work with cross-functional teams.
- Strong ethical standards and integrity.
Compensation: $92,000 - $165,000 (market competitive).
