Role Overview
As a Senior UI/UX Product Designer, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting seamless, engaging, and user-friendly experiences for our platform. Working closely with product managers, engineers, and educators, you’ll drive the vision and execution of design solutions that enhance teaching and learning.
From wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes, you’ll bring ideas to life with a deep understanding of user behavior, accessibility, and modern UI/UX principles. Your work will directly influence how professors teach and how students engage with learning content.
What You'll Do
Lead the UI/UX Design Process – From research and ideation to prototyping and final designs, ensuring a smooth, delightful user experience.
User Research & Testing – Conduct user research, interviews, and usability tests to understand pain points and improve the platform.
Design & Prototype – Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Collaborate with Teams – Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate ideas into intuitive designs.
Enhance User Experience – Focus on accessibility, usability, and user engagement to refine interactions and ensure a frictionless experience.
Maintain Design Consistency – Develop and maintain UI style guides and design systems for a cohesive brand experience.
Stay Ahead of Trends – Keep up with the latest UI/UX best practices, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our platform.
What We're Looking For
Must-Have Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in UI/UX or Product Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects.
Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
Strong user research skills – Ability to conduct usability testing, analyze user behavior, and apply insights.
Expertise in interaction design – Understanding of user flows, wireframing, and rapid prototyping.
Proficiency in visual design principles – Typography, color theory, and responsive design.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams – Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end frameworks is a plus.
Passion for education technology – Prior experience in EdTech or SaaS is a huge bonus.
