Full-Time Softlines Technical Manager

Position Overview:We are seeking a Technical Manager with expertise in chemistry or materials science. This role supports regulatory, technical, and market needs in the US and Canadian sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaison for Go To Market strategies and product launches in North America.
• Primary client contact for chemical/analytical testing programs.
• Track and analyze US and Canadian regulatory developments.
• Provide robust support to North American clients and colleagues, answering technical and regulatory queries.
• Design and deliver customized seminars and training sessions on topics like product safety and regulatory compliance.
• Present at industry and government events.
• Participate in standards development activities (e.g., ASTM, AATCC, ISO).
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create educational materials and webinars.
• Author and review technical bulletins for the North American audience.
• Offer strategic advice to clients on compliance.
• Facilitate global lab cooperation for testing methodologies (softlines, toys, hardlines).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience collaborating with industry standards organizations (e.g., ASTM, AATCC).
• Demonstrated proficiency in chemical, regulatory, and performance testing for textiles, toys, and hardlines.
• Strong public speaking and client engagement skills.
• Experience with softlines or hardlines products.
• Background in consumer product space.
