About QuillBot: QuillBot is an AI-powered writing platform. It provides tools to help students, professionals, and educators become more effective writers. The team aims to automate the time-consuming parts of writing to let users focus on their craft.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own application architecture for high scalability and resilience.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure optimal solution design for new features.
• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new technologies and collaborate on architectural improvements.
• Benchmark technologies with use cases for sound architectural decisions.
• Contribute to product roadmap and establish best practices.
• Set well-scoped project milestones for on-time delivery with high quality.
• Be part of a central team to understand and solve organizational tech requirements.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Lead projects and junior engineers.
• Lead cross-functional requirements.

Ideal Candidate:

• 6+ years of hands-on development experience in web technologies.
• 3+ years of experience in designing architecture.
• Strong expertise in Frontend technologies (TypeScript, DOM manipulation, UI Libraries/Frameworks, React).
• Experience leading projects with 2-3 engineers.
• Understanding of micro-frontends and module bundlers (a plus).
• Experience with high-scale production applications.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of design patterns.
• Affinity for optimum, performant, production-quality code.
• Passion for technology and latest developments (interest in AI/ML a plus).
• Good understanding of Cloud Architecture, deployment, and optimization (GCP/AWS - a plus).
