Full-Time Software Development Engineer in Test

OVERVIEWTen Mile Square seeks a passionate SDET to join their growing team and develop a loan origination system for a financial services enterprise.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead test automation efforts for the loan origination system using Node, Apollo GraphQL, Angular, Camunda, and AWS components (EKS, Lambda, S3, MSK, Aurora).
• Collaborate with other SDETs.
• Design test plans.
• Create automated end-to-end and contract tests.
• Build a performance testing framework and run performance tests.
• Guide junior engineers in testing.
• Collaborate with the product team to define testing requirements.
• Contribute to Agile team and promote Agile practices.
• Collaborate with the Ten Mile team on development and knowledge sharing.
• Maintain client confidentiality.
• Help in hiring and onboarding other SDETs.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong proficiency in software development.
• TypeScript expertise.
• Expert in automated testing.
• Working knowledge of SQL and at least one frontend JavaScript framework (Angular, Ionic, React, Vue).
• Experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar for end-to-end testing.
• Implementation of a load testing framework (K6, JMeter).
• Experience testing backend and frontend components.
• Full software lifecycle participation (requirements to post-implementation).
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Detail-oriented and high integrity.
• Excellent communication skills.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

• Base Salary + Bonus: $149,500 ($130,000 + $19,500)
