Illumio is a leader in ransomware and breach containment, delivering a Zero Trust Segmentation platform to isolate attacks across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
Role: Solution Engineer supporting Inside Sales (ISR) to accelerate discovery, demos, PoCs and technical validation for a high-velocity sales motion.
Your Impact- Partner with ISRs to qualify opportunities and advance deals from first meeting to demo, PoC and close.
- Deliver tailored demos and remote PoCs with clear success criteria, timelines and exit plans.
- Create reusable enablement assets: demo scripts, discovery guides, objection handling playbooks and ROI snippets.
- Support webinars, virtual events and partner enablement/co-sell motions.
- Author thought leadership on Zero Trust Segmentation and ransomware mitigation.
- Improved meeting-to-demo and demo-to-PoC conversion rates and higher PoC-to-win.
- Reduced cycle times through fast technical validation and clear technical milestones.
- Broad adoption of enablement assets and documented customer security improvements.
- 10+ years industry experience with 5+ years in pre-sales or customer-facing technical roles; inside-sales/high-velocity experience preferred.
- Domain expertise in cloud migration, major CSP services, cloud-native development, containers and IaC.
- Understanding of SDLC, APIs, scripting/automation and administering Windows/Linux.
- Comfort with MEDDPICC/value selling and tools such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, 6sense, Clari, Outreach and Gong.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security, Kubernetes security.
