Job Details
Purpose: Establish strategic partnerships with logistics providers to ensure Rituals' growth and service delivery alignment with promises at optimal costs. Procurement of the global Rituals Logistics Portfolio is your responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Drive logistics function towards future, contributing to environmental objectives, steep growth, and efficient/effective operations for end-customers.
- Screen and (re)construct logistics processes, optimizing scalable processes, and defining/maintaining logistics sourcing strategies.
- Propose/implement best practices/technologies for cost savings and improved services, seeking constructive solutions.
- Develop/maintain logistics procurement category strategy (3-5 year focus).
- Establish robust global logistics network to support regular business and major events (introductions, promotions, Xmas).
- Install governance model for effective communication/monitoring/optimization of supplier performance.
- Ensure logistics projects adhere to standards and represent logistics in corporate sustainability strategy meetings.
- Periodically screen suppliers' full sustainability portfolio.
- Collaborate with Logistics Director on warehouse facility design, construction, and process/system setup.
- Expand warehousing capabilities: pivotal role in expansion.
- Serve as logistics leader/expert and collaborate with other functions.
- Foster a high-performance culture via KPIs, key metrics, and goals.
- Monitor market developments and translate to benefits for Rituals.
Qualifications:
- Master's in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Business Economics.
- Minimum 10 years' experience: (3PL) supplier management, ideally in Netherlands-based FMCG/Retail, with export/customs/dangerous goods knowledge.
- Self-management of functional expertise.
- Fast-paced, "self-starter" environment experience.
- Strong leadership: Recognized in supply chain, gaining trust/confidence from senior management.
- Influence peers to follow standards/processes.
- Define/communicate clear vision and organize tools, processes, and teams for achievement.
- Strong communicator/negotiator at all levels.
- Understand performance metrics and data analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Strong process design, systems implementation, and standardization methodologies.
- Dutch language skills preferred for legal/government implications.
- Project management/leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel.
