We seek a motivated Senior Marketing Associate, Lifecycle & Loyalty to join our team. This role demands strategic thinking, hands-on execution, curiosity, analytical skills, and attention to detail. This role blends strategy and execution, allowing you to own initiatives from ideation to implementation.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Design and develop Backcountry's cross-channel lifecycle strategy to grow lifetime value, repeat purchases, purchase frequency and customer satisfaction.
  • Own end-to-end lifecycle campaign execution (segmentation, journey logic, dynamic content, QA, deployment, analysis).
  • Lead loyalty program implementation and optimization based on customer insights and commercial impact.
  • Act as a CRM platform expert, understanding capabilities and limitations, and exploring ways to push its boundaries.
  • Monitor platform and campaign health (bounces, complaints, deliverability issues, data sync errors) and develop incident response plans.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in CRM, retention, lifecycle, or email marketing (especially in fast-paced e-commerce/DTC).
  • Hands-on experience executing email marketing campaigns using ESPs.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills (data interpretation, testing, data-driven decisions).
  • Collaborative attitude and effective communication skills.
