Sr. Medicare Program Analyst will work cross-functionally within the team, developing a purpose-driven analytics platform to maximize analytics capabilities and performance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop proprietary solutions for best analytics to drive success in existing and new contracts.
- Develop integration and automation of MVBC analytics processes to provide insights to stakeholders.
- Enhance MVBC team efficiency by:
- Improving database, SQL script, and SAS program performance and scalability.
- Designing, building, and running ETL programs for extracting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data (claims, EMR, clinical, and third-party). Using SAS (9.4) and SQL (Snowflake).
- Collaborating with team members to design ETL & automation workflows.
- Ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and completeness by developing QA checks.
- Evaluating and improving existing QA checks.
- Documenting technical processes for future reference.
- Providing expertise to team members on building healthcare analytical solutions.
- Lead MVBC team representation in infrastructure projects (database, platform, and application migration).
- Collaborate closely with IT leadership, engineers, and 3rd parties to enhance business analytics.
- Learn the Medicare regulatory landscape related to healthcare data, analytics, Shared Savings programs, and Accountable Care Organizations (ACO).
- Proven ability to build automation, ETL, and scalable analytics using SAS and SQL.
Skills Required: Strong SAS and SQL experience.
Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or quantitative field preferred or equivalent experience. Experience in health plan, hospital system, ACO, provider organization, consulting firm, tech startup, or analytics.
Experience with Snowflake environment preferred.

Salary Range $82,500.00 to $110,000.00 (base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits)
Technical Requirements (Remote Workers Only): Minimum 5 Mbps Download Speed and 3 Mbps Upload Speed (prior to employment). Use online speed tests.
