The Position: The senior product manager role will support our product offering designed for community customers. This requires a strategic thinker with a strong product vision who can operate cross-functionally. The successful candidate balances customer-centric design with advanced reporting; builds strong feedback loops; evaluates legacy product consolidation; and transforms our marketplace into a unified, high-impact experience. This leader reports to the VP of Product and partners with product leads to formulate a long-term product strategy.

They have a deep understanding of customer experience, engagement, and sentiment, coupled with analytical rigor to build tools demonstrating tangible value and ROI. This person identifies impactful features, using customer understanding, data, and intuition to create a streamlined product strategy.
What you will do:
- Product Vision & Strategy: Support development of a cohesive product vision and translate it into a robust roadmap, prioritizing impactful features and user experiences.
- Customer Engagement & Research: Develop feedback loops to understand and address customer needs, driving continuous improvement.
- Customer-centric Design: Collaborate with engineering, design, and UX teams to deliver community-focused features. Prioritize intuitive design and enhance sentiment.
- ROI Reporting & Performance Tracking: Establish ROI and performance tracking systems to provide real-time insights. Develop comparison tools and analytics dashboards to empower customers.
- Customer Data Collection: Lead integrations and data collection initiatives to support the APFM network. Leverage data for personalization and engagement.
- Product Consolidation Strategy: Strategize and manage legacy product migration to align with a new strategic vision. Minimize disruption and develop communication plans for customers.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for product strategy. Foster collaboration with engineering, design, customer support, and data science teams.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Product Experience: 5+ years of product management, ideally in marketplaces.
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience using reporting tools like Tableau, Amplitude, and Databricks.
- User-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on user experience and engagement.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Leading cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration.
- Product Transition & Legacy System Management: Experience with product transitions and legacy product consolidation.
- Communication Skills: Articulating complex strategies and inspiring teams.
- Adaptability & Problem Solving: Proactive problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with software development, design, and data analysis.
