Full-Time Sr Software Eng - Full Stack

The Advanced Technologies team seeks innovative software engineers to build and scale LIMS for clinical diagnostic products.

Responsibilities:

• Scale systems for patient sample processing (order to result).
• Explore emerging technologies (e.g., LLMs) to enhance customer order processing.
• Develop microservices for various capabilities and system integrations.
• Communicate and incorporate feedback on design proposals.
• Code for efficiency, reusability, scalability, following existing frameworks or creating new ones.
• Develop and maintain automated tests.

Requirements:

• 10+ years software development experience, with 5+ years in Java enterprise application full-stack development.
• 3+ years experience with JavaScript and UI frameworks/libraries (e.g., JQuery).
• Hands-on experience with data modeling, schemas (relational databases, XML, JSON), data management, RDBMS and NoSQL.
• Proficiency in SQL for generating reports from large RDBMS (e.g., Oracle).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
• Experience with LIMS development (e.g., LabVantage, STARLIMS) is a plus.
• Experience in agile development, test automation, and continuous integration.
• Curiosity about new technologies, experience with AI tools (Github Copilot, ChatGPT), and contributing to open source projects.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE or Biosciences.
