Full-Time Sr. Tax Preparer

Responsibilities:

• Organize and update the company's tax database
• Prepare tax payments and estimate and track tax returns
• Complete quarterly and annual tax reports
• Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals
• Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns
• Share financial data with the accounting department to ensure compliance with tax requirements
• Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits within tax regulations
• Follow industry trends and track changes
• Liaise with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance
• Forecast tax predictions to senior managers to inform business

Requirements

• Bachelor's’ Degree in finance or accounting or related discipline is required
• 4-5 years of related experience in Tax Accounting is required
• Previous experience in Mexican taxes, taxes audit is required
• Knowledge of equipment financing (in particular transportation equipment), would be considered an asset
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
• Good time-management with an ability to prioritize and multi-task.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strategical thinking
• Fluent English is a must
