The Sr. Training Manager is responsible for the successful development, delivery, execution, and management of Pharmaceutical Clients training needs. They comprehend and communicate disease state, marketplace, and product-specific materials to learners. They support the evaluation, creation, and implementation of training efforts, including design and material development throughout the project lifecycle.
They facilitate engaging live or virtual training, demonstrating exceptional platform skills. They collaborate with other EVERSANA business units for a successful training plan.
- Support development of training materials (initial and follow-up).
- Support materials management through legal, regulatory, and medical review.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for dynamic learning material implementation (presentations, workshops, guides, modules).
- Support Directors of Training and Project Managers with project management.
- Collaborate with support services (agenda management, LMS setup).
- Learn new disease state materials and implement training.
- Facilitate live/virtual training (product knowledge, disease state, selling skills).
- Provide train-the-trainer services, new hire training, and sustainment curriculum.
- Support sales management teams with training materials/facilitation.
- Manage the Training Project Plan (task management, issue escalation, risk identification, interdependencies via project documentation).
- Onboard, develop, and coach field-based trainers and emerging sales leaders based on competencies.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical training environment is mandatory.
- Previous experience in Pharmaceutical sales environment with training exposure is preferred.
- Experience supporting multi-component programs from concept to completion.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Superb track record in developing and executing successful training programs.
- Proficient in MS Office and related business tools.
- Familiar with traditional and modern training processes/adult learning principles.
- Working knowledge of sound Instructional design.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Expertise in training and facilitation.
- Travel 60% (based on client training needs).
