Full-Time Staff Accountant

ALIS is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team.

Job Accountabilities:

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and general ledger entries.
• Analyze general ledger balances, investigate variances, and review account reconciliations.
• Lead daily accounting activities to ensure proper transaction recording.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
• Respond to invoice questions and manage credit card reconciliations.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Assist in business system implementation projects.
• Prepare schedules and support documentation for monthly reporting and annual audit.
• Manage ad hoc projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience optimizing accounting and FP&A processes.
• Experience aligning data systems and reporting platforms.
• Experience with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., Sage Intacct).
• Experience in the SaaS industry.

Skills Required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Accounting software proficiency (Sage Intacct a plus).
