Full-Time Staff Engineer - DevOps

Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, reliable, and scalable systems.

Infrastructure Management: Oversee and optimize cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

CI/CD Pipeline: Develop, maintain, and enhance Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

Automation: Implement and manage automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, using technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.

Monitoring & Logging: Establish and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.

Collaboration: Work closely with software development and IT teams to design and deploy robust solutions, troubleshoot issues, and improve overall system reliability.

Security: Implement and enforce security best practices.

Technical Leadership: Provide mentorship and support to junior developers.

On-call Issues: Participate in on-call issues, leading troubleshooting and resolution.

Recruitment: Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new engineers.

What Would Excite Us?

• 4+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid scripting skills.
• Experience with configuration management tools.
• Good understanding of networking, security, and database administration.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good communication skills.
