Our company is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Finance Lead. In this role, you will take ownership of our core financial operations and strategic planning, partnering closely with leadership to drive decision-making and support our continued growth. Responsibilities:
- Oversee FP&A-related activities of the organization, including budgeting, financial forecasting, and monthly financial reporting to leadership, as well as quarterly reporting to the board.
- Manage accounts payables and accounts receivables, working with vendors and clients to ensure timely and accurate payment and billing.
- Manage the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including overseeing reimbursements, departmental budget tracking etc.
- Meet with budget owners on a monthly basis to ensure stakeholders understand their budget.
- Work with external accountants to close the monthly books and handle all tax-related matters.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to senior management on financial and operational matters including pricing and deal support.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures that ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Must-have Qualifications:
- 5+ years of total experience in one or more of the following: FP&A, strategic finance, or accounting in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment. Consulting, banking, or investment-related roles.
- Strong financial analysis and reporting skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, including complex formulas and data modeling.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of relevant accounting standards and compliance requirements (GAAP, SEC regulations, tax laws).
Nice-to-have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business administration.
- Experience managing core accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and monthly close processes.
- CPA, CMA, CFA, or other relevant certification.
