You’ll join our Finance team, working hand in hand with internal stakeholders to overcome obstacles by understanding their goals and challenges. This position reports to Xplor’s VP of Global procurement and requires a highly analytical, proactive, organized, problem solver.
Strategic IT Sourcing - Senior Lead is responsible for:
- Managing the Procure to Pay system with the AP team.
- Creating and reporting spend data analysis.
- Driving cost out while ensuring Xplor is sourced to support / grow business.
- Managing supplier engagements - concept through execution; (scope, RFP, negotiations, supplier awarding, contract execution, supplier migration / implementation).
- Maintaining a funnel of savings opportunities. Identifies and tracks opportunities, documents sourcing priorities and roadmap of sourcing activities.
- Maintaining a savings achievement tracker (in sync with finance for forecasting)
- Reporting: KPIs, preferred supplier adoption, exception reporting & business partner reporting.
- Complying with Xplor policy and standards: Terms and Conditions (payment terms, break clauses, engage legal for Xplor standard wording, disclosures, engages legal, business partner inputs, proper contact approvals, Procurement policy, etc.
- Ensuring contracts and commercial agreements are being followed and recorded in Xplor contract repository
Required qualifications and skills for this role:
- Advanced skillset in technology sourcing to identify spend savings opportunities and manage from sourcing through implementation is key
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and motivational skills
- Creating category plans Build strong internal relationships with key business stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an analytical mind
- Adaptability and flexibility, able to manage fast paced change in growing company
- MCIPS qualified would be desirable
