Full-Time Strategic Sourcing Manager - IT Hardware

Responsibilities: Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry.Category Management and Contract Execution: Partner with internal stakeholders on clarifying IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance sourcing requirements. Lead development of supplier negotiation strategies. Own opportunity assessment and initiation through contract execution.Supplier Relationship Management: Lead commercial and contractual requirements for IT Hardware suppliers. Craft supplier strategies aligning with stakeholder needs.RFx Management: Supplier interface for RFI, RFP, and RFQs. Conduct TCO modeling, present results to stakeholders, and drive sourcing decisions.Competitive Benchmarking and Market Research: Stay updated on IT Hardware and IaaS market dynamics. Guide stakeholders on changes in market dynamics.Sustainability Initiatives: Collaborate with internal Sustainability teams to support supplier Sustainability efforts. Drive supplier improvement.Demand Monitoring and Forecasting: Monitor and forecast demand levels. Seek out industry knowledge.Sourcing and Contracting: Manage, advise, and engage in the sourcing and contracting processes for IT Hardware, IaaS, and maintenance categories. Conduct supplier analysis, evaluate suppliers, and support qualification.Best Value Supplier Selection: Drive best value supplier selection for year-over-year savings on over $600M spend.Sourcing Plan Development: Develop sourcing plans, hardware category strategies, RFPs, and other sourcing strategies.Skills Required:7+ years of sourcing experience in IT hardware, IaaS, and global support/maintenance. Experience with cost modeling, supplier negotiation, and stakeholder/executive-level presentations. Experience with leading suppliers (Dell, Cisco, etc.) and value-added resellers. Experience with client and peripherals/consumables sourcing. Knowledge of hardware leasing. Knowledge of purchasing and supply chain processes. Partner with key stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation. Experience with RFx processes, contract process, and sourcing best practices. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategy, governance, and structure in a rapidly changing environment.
