AECOM has a thriving, multidisciplinary Water Resources Engineering team in Colorado and we are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to remotely join the growing team in our Denver office.
AECOM’s Global Water Team is involved in high profile, industry leading infrastructure projects.
We work on projects from feasibility through design, construction, operation, maintenance, and asset management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Structural Department with the layout and design of hydraulic structures, water and wastewater treatment facilities.
- Independently prepare engineering calculations.
- Review work of other engineers.
- Develop structural technical specifications, plans, and details.
- Verify compliance with codes and standards.
- Coordinate with other in-house engineering disciplines.
- Perform condition assessments and site visits.
The team brings together project managers, engineers, numerical modelers, and other related disciplines.

Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS and 4+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE License
- Master's Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- CAD, REVIT Skills
- Knowledge of analysis and design software (SAP 2000, RISA 3D, STAAD.Pro, SAFE).
