Responsibilities:
1. Design and analysis of structural systems for various industrial facilities, ensuring that the designs conform to recognized codes and standards, as well as client requirements.
2. Work closely with the project team to develop comprehensive project scopes.
3. Manage project budgets effectively, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work within on time and on budget.
4. Assist in the preparation of proposals, providing technical input and cost estimates.
6. Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet all necessary codes and quality standards.
7. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
8. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and codes to ensure the company's competitive edge.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree will be considered an advantage.
2. A minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial facilities (highly preferred)
3. Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
4. Knowledge of steel, concrete, timber design and familiarity with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.).
5. Preferred software knowledge and requirements include Revit, BIM, AutoCAD, RISA 3D, Navisworks, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
6. Excellent project management skills, with a proven ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time.
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
8. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
