Full-Time Surveying Director

What you'll be doing:

1. Leading the surveying function to deliver strategic goals and service excellence
2. Exploring how data and AI can enhance surveying practices
3. Managing resources and workforce planning across digital and physical surveying
4. Driving performance through innovation, automation and process improvement
5. Collaborating with technical and risk teams to ensure quality and compliance
6. Representing the company at industry meetings, developing key contacts
7. Overseeing ISO 9001 compliance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
8. Championing transformation through data, technology and customer insight

Who we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in surveying, valuation or mortgage services
• Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, survey and valuation products, and RICS regulation; you must be RICS qualified
• Data curious and genuinely inquisitive and excited about the future of surveying
• Experience of working as a surveyor or in a lender risk team
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Effective communicator at all levels, with strong influencing skills
• Experience managing budgets and leading high-performing teams
• Commitment to delivering good customer outcomes and maintaining high standards of business ethics
