Full-Time Surveying Director

What you’ll be doing:

• Leading the surveying function to deliver strategic goals and service excellence
• Exploring how data and AI can enhance surveying practices
• Managing resources and workforce planning across digital and physical surveying
• Driving performance through innovation, automation and process improvement
• Collaborating with technical and risk teams to ensure quality and compliance
• Representing the company at industry meetings, developing key contacts
• Overseeing ISO 9001 compliance and promoting a culture of continuous improvement
• Championing transformation through data, technology and customer insight

Who we’re looking for:

• Proven leadership experience in surveying, valuation or mortgage services
• Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, survey and valuation products, and RICS regulation; you must be RICS qualified
• Data curious and genuinely inquisitive and excited about the future of surveying
• Experience of working as a surveyor or in a lender risk team
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop teams
• Effective communicator at all levels, with strong influencing skills
• Experience managing budgets and leading high-performing teams
• Commitment to delivering good customer outcomes and maintaining high standards of business ethics
