Tax Accountant - Remote - Albany, NY
Who: An experienced tax professional with at least 3 years of public accounting experience.

Position Overview: We're seeking an Accountant to join a professional services team that supports growing businesses and high-net-worth individuals. This role focuses on tax preparation and advisory while offering broader exposure to financial planning services including estate, succession, and retirement planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, LLC, S corp, and C corp tax returns
- Communicate with clients and tax authorities
- Provide high-quality tax services and strategic financial advice
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment
- Contribute to client acquisition and business development efforts
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of tax preparation experience
- Strong technical tax knowledge and research skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Office Suite, Ultra Tax
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
