Full-Time Tax Manager

Responsibilities: 

• Supervise and confirm the accurate reviewing and submission of local and national tax returns.
• Collaboratively work with clients to create and execute effective tax planning methods.
• Constantly collaborate with leadership and tax team members to improve and establish processes for the tax department.
• Prepare replies and schedules for income tax inspections.
• Stay informed about updates in tax legislation and help management in devising response strategies where required.
• Inform team members and management about significant tax issues and legislative amendments.
• Nourish and develop relationships across tax and accounting roles to improve client service.
• Oversee the tax team members to guarantee accurate completion of tax returns.
•  Develop robust relationships with clients and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Mentor and supervise the tax team to encourage their career development.

Requirements

Qualifications: 

• CPA required 
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required 
• QuickBooks experience required 
• 5+ years experience 
• Proven ability to ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Experience in corporate income tax accounting and filing
• Proficiency in preparing and filing corporate tax returns
• Ability to collaborate with other departments and lead a team, ideally 1-2 years experience leading a team
