CleanSpark's Digital Asset Management (DAM) department is seeking a Trade Operations Manager. This role is responsible for timely and accurate trade capture, confirmation, settlement, reconciliation, and accounting support across spot bitcoin transactions and derivatives used for treasury management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end trade lifecycle processes for spot and derivatives transactions.
- Perform daily reconciliations across trading venues, OTC counterparties, and custodians.
- Coordinate cash and collateral activity.
- Maintain books and records; prepare operational and performance reporting.
- Partner with Accounting/Financial Reporting/Tax on journal entries and digital-asset accounting.
- Apply internal controls and support audits and SOX requests.
- Track and manage corporate actions and trade lifecycle events.
- Contribute to procedure development and process improvement.
- Liaise with counterparties, custodians, and internal stakeholders.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of experience in trade operations/treasury operations/middle office.
- Proficiency with daily reconciliations and the trade lifecycle.
- Working knowledge of derivatives, margin, and collateral flows.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong written documentation skills and communication.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital-asset infrastructure.
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP for digital assets.
- Basic scripting or SQL for reconciliation automation.
- Experience supporting audit/SOX requests.
- Exposure to desk reporting and standard ops tooling.
