Purpose: The Head of Product is a key member of the Executive Team, collaborating with other functional leaders to set Lingraphica's strategic direction and ensure its successful execution. This role leads product management, product design, product training, and product support teams, driving the vision and strategy for AAC devices and applications.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the Product team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional development.
- Define and execute product strategies aligning with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with engineering, sales, marketing, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and set priorities.
- Drive empowered product teams from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Partner with the Vice President of Technology to enhance product development processes.
- Monitor key performance metrics and leverage data to improve the user experience.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Advocate for the voice of the customer, championing their needs.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Product Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- Proven track record leading a Product Management function.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Experience with AAC technologies is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize and communicate decisions to stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using data to drive product decisions
- Strong understanding of the product operating model and continuous discovery practices
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles (preferred)
- Passion for technology and innovation
Work Environment & Physical Demands: Remote work option in the U.S. or Princeton, NJ office. Safe, productive work environment with secure internet access required if working remotely.
Travel: Travel within the U.S. required approximately 4-6 times per year.
