Full-Time VP, Product Design

At WorkWave, we empower service professionals. Our software helps businesses be more efficient, profitable, and deliver exceptional service. We seek a Vice President of Product Design to lead the next evolution in product design.

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you'll champion design excellence. Ensure our products are intuitive, elegant, and effective for non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Define and execute a unified product design vision.
2. Lead system-level design to create seamless experiences.
3. Own and scale the WorkWave enterprise design system (Tidal).
4. Build design frameworks for AI assistants.
5. Collaborate with product & engineering to create AI-enabled experiences.
6. Advocate for ethical AI design.
7. Drive rapid experimentation & iteration.
8. Lead and mentor a design team.
9. Foster a collaborative and feedback-driven culture.
10. Drive cross-functional collaboration.
11. Validate usability standards and ensure products meet user needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years of product design experience
• 5+ years in senior design leadership
• Experience designing for non-technical audiences
• Proven success with AI-first products
• Familiarity with AI-enabled prototyping tools
• System-level design thinking skills
• Experience with enterprise design systems
• Strong user research and usability testing background
• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience building and scaling design teams
