Job Description: Seeking a VP of Central & Eastern Europe Sales/Business Development to lead a dedicated team focused on new business, building local presence, and managing teams across all countries. This role is accountable for overall sales performance, including achieving targets for profitable sales volume, market share, and financial objectives aligned with Nuvei's strategy.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue and achieve financial targets through alignment of the sales organization's objectives with Nuvei's business strategy.
- Cultivate key client relationships, strategic partnerships, and alliances to enhance market presence and drive success.
- Provide strong leadership to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting collaboration in a multicultural environment.
- Develop and execute strategies for successful partnerships across the payments industry, enabling lead generation and product enhancements to support revenue.
- Build and foster teamwork across internal partnerships (Marketing, Sales Operations, Commercial Enablement, Risk, Finance, etc.) to deliver excellent customer experience and sales targets.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree required; Master's or equivalent experience preferred
- 10+ years leading sales and relationship management teams
- 10+ years in a leadership role in the payments industry, with experience in senior management positions
- Proven ability to develop and foster industry relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment, adapt quickly to changes, and drive agility.
- Proven ability to build and inspire high-performing teams across a distributed workforce and multiple time zones
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively to overcome challenges and drive teamwork for results
- Flexibility and willingness to travel to build relationships, attend events, and support initiatives across the Europe region
- English (written and spoken) proficiency
