Bring your passion and feel the energy Work with the iconic Dan Murphy’s brand and a high performing, award-winning team. As the 121 Marketing Lead you’ll be responsible for the development and execution of Dan Murphy’s multi-channel 121 marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Acting as a liaison between Dan’s marketing, merch, ecomm, technology and analytics squads, as well as Loyalty to ensure alignment of business objectives and squad roadmaps to deliver prioritised initiatives, as well as report and showcase performance.
Partnering into both Functional Teams and Agile Squads, you will lead and own the lifecycle strategy for a set cohort as well as monitor and optimise based on key customer base health metrics such as shopping frequency, churn, share of wallet and engagement.
You’ll be responsible for the creation and ongoing management of multi-channel customer journeys for selected lifecycle stages, reviewing and optimising to enhance the customer experience.
Supporting the 121 Marketing Manager and broader Group Loyalty and Targeted Marketing Team to champion and deliver best practice data driven communications, and help take our wider stakeholder group on a journey to understand the vision and rationale.
- Focus on promoting best practices for 1:1 marketing, collaborating with agile teams on data and capability, and using an insights-led approach to improve performance in email opens, click-throughs, conversions, and sales through continuous testing.
- You'll manage compliance with email regulations, report program outcomes to key stakeholders, and optimize customer lifecycle programs.
- Develop a comprehensive customer contact plan, leading customer journeys with a customer-first mindset, and leveraging data to increase customer lifetime value.
- You'll drive personalisation, explore optimal communication approaches, and coach the team on end-to-end campaign management across multiple channels.
- Partnering with other marketers, you'll ensure brand alignment,, identify process enhancements, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- You'll be instrumental in planning capability requirements and collaborating with marketing and finance on offers, content, and product ranges to enhance customer engagement.
Now let’s talk about you:
- Extensive (5 years +) CRM/Digital/Direct Marketing experience working in teams planning and executing dynamic content through email and other data driven communication channels.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across diverse groups.
- An understanding of martech and appreciation of how upstream data flows can impact a customer experience.
- You’ll be comfortable working across multiple customer segments and channels with the aim of delivering a customer centric experience.
- You're able to work well under pressure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of programs & initiatives through multiple platforms.
- You have a strong desire/motivation to ‘test and learn’ to drive continuous improvement in the programs you manage.
- Experience working with large-scale customer databases and/or complex data
- Experience working with innovative retail marketing teams with a strong focus on bringing the brand to life through creative execution
- Demonstrated capability in receiving and understanding customer insight and translating this into materially improved customer engagementand business outcomes
- Working knowledge of digital marketing
- Self-starter with high levels of curiosity, drive for innovation, and a strong eye for detail
- Can-do attitude, with a track record of multitasking to deliver high quality outcomes in a timely manner.
