Bring your passion and feel the energy!Be responsible for the campaign strategy and execution of 121 marketing campaigns and always-on personalized email and push notifications to My Dan’s members.Join the Dan Murphy’s 121 and Lifecycle Marketing team.As the 121 Marketing Specialist you will report to the 121 Marketing Manager and build the strategy for the 121 element of top-tier campaigns using past performance analysis layering with current insights and trends. Planning campaigns with multiple audiences across different phases and balancing the wider campaign objectives and plan with 121 customer needs. The always-on/evergreen program requires the Marketing Specialist to build and optimize emails and push notifications based on performance to drive engagement and ultimately incremental revenue.
This role is hands-on with the ability to complete a wide range of activities requiring clear communication, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, you will work with a broad set of stakeholders - the broader campaign team within Marketing, Endeavour X for Martech and Personalisation Engine work, Merchandise for product details/approval, the creative studio and ecomm for campaign delivery.
Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:
- Collaborate with wider marketing team to understand campaign, feed in requirements and set goals.
- Support key business priorities via creation of campaign strategies and plans.
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution based on plans created. This includes presenting plans to stakeholders for approval, studio briefing and creative management, building content and final test and QA.
- Creating and managing evergreen emails/push, with regular pulse checks on performance for optimization.
- Post-campaign analysis to understand how a campaign has performed and how it can be optimized.
- Proactively review roadmap and develop an execution plan across multiple campaigns.
- Implement learnings from data & insights dashboards to establish stream of new emails/push.
- Documentation of campaigns and performance.
- Upskilling and knowledge sharing within the 121 and Lifecycle Marketing team.
- Work with the 121 Marketing Manager on planning and delivery.
- End-to-end management of campaign with creative studio team.
Now let’s talk about you:
- CRM/Digital/Direct Marketing experience (3-5 years) working in teams executing dynamic content, lifecycle and trigger programs through email and other 121 communication channels.
- Collaborative and empathetic, with a strong ability to work within the team to identify needs and balance their individual delivery to meet those needs.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Campaign strategy and planning capability to deliver in a fast-paced agile working environment.
- Deliver to high standards, drive innovation and create value autonomously, while living our culture and values.
- Demonstrates strong influencing skills and communication skills to share learning and progress within the chapter and squad.
- Experience with 1:1/digital campaign metrics such as opens, clicks, attributed/incremental revenue, target vs control measurement, conversion rate to understand what is/isn’t working.
- Ability to work well under pressure, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of campaigns & initiatives.
- Strong desire/motivation to ‘test and learn’ to drive continuous improvement.
- Share best practice within the team and contribute towards building a strong team culture.
