Job Details
As a part of the Gameloft team, you will be responsible for creating and animating characters and 3D objects, as well as reviewing these assets in cinematic sequences.
You'll be actively involved in the creation process by interacting with the game designer, art director, and motion design team.
Strong professional experience in animation.
Deep understanding of animation principles and their application.
Strong understanding of character identity and what makes a character unique.
Excellent knowledge of human and creature anatomy and motion.
Strong observation skills and an eye for detail.
Experience with Biped, CAT, and custom rigs.
Good understanding of rigging, including technical processes, functions, and requirements.
Deep understanding of body language, timing, posing, and gestural communication.
Mastery of various animation styles, both realistic and stylized, in 3D and 2D.
Proficiency in 3ds Max is essential
Passion for video games and animations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Maya or Blender is a plus.
- Experience with motion capture data files.
- Experience in MotionBuilder.
- Experience working with animations in popular game engines.
- Experience in 2D animation
Responsibilities:
- Animate high-quality 3D characters and objects.
- Review and refine animations to ensure they meet cinematic standards.
- Collaborate with game designers, art directors, and the motion design team to develop animation concepts.
- Ensure animations adhere to technical and artistic requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the animation pipeline.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the creative process.
