Job Overview: This is a ground floor opportunity with tremendous upside and a high level of inbound interest. The Account Executive position will be responsible for full sales cycle ownership, a mix of both inbound and outbound activities. This includes strategic targeting, qualifying, engaging, and closing leads generated from both their own outbound activities and marketing-driven leads. This role also has the opportunity to upgrade customers.
Responsibilities:
- Learn and adopt the Postal Sales Methodology and process
- Qualify and nurture opportunities from inbound marketing initiatives
- Identify, prospect, and educate net new accounts on the benefits of using Postal to consolidate their swag and gifting efforts.
- Develop net new opportunities to acquire new business opportunities - this is a "hunter" role
- Use best-in-class outreach methods to set appointments, including, but not limited to, calls, emails, LinkedIn, gifting, and video.
- Invest time to understand prospective and existing client business needs.
- Think strategically and creatively to create and deliver complex, customized solutions that provide value to the clients' bottom line.
- Become an industry expert by researching trends and best practices, reading business publications, seeking out learning and development opportunities, and utilizing internal training resources. You will become a trusted resource for your clients.
- Act as a project manager, collaborating cross-functionally with team members that may be required participants in the sales process (SDRs, Marketing, Leadership, Product).
- Conduct tailored, web-based presentations that showcase Postal solutions.
- Drive revenue by effectively addressing the client's business needs, offering appropriate value proposition solutions, creating urgency, and closing opportunities.
- Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline to achieve and exceed monthly sales quota
Qualifications:
- 2+ Years Selling Experience, at least 1 year in a closing role.
- SaaS experience required
- Strong ability to initiate, establish, and nurture meaningful business relationships
- Desire to be a leader internally and externally
- Ability to test, hypothesize, and adjust strategies
- Upbeat and positive demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of activity, manage multiple competing priorities, and work effectively in a results-driven culture
- Flexible and adaptive to change in a highly dynamic work environment

- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and Google Apps

- Experience working on a performance-based compensation structure (base + commission)
