Job Details
We are seeking an Accountant to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for career advancement in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable, including payment follow-ups and client communication.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, resolving billing issues.
- Process payments and maintain accounting records (invoices, journals, reconciliations).
- Assist in preparing management accounts and financial statements.
- Support procurement requests via the company's procurement tool.
- Prepare monthly and annual reports.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Assist with local VAT returns.
- Prepare account reconciliations.
- Provide general accounting support.
Requirements
- Partially qualified accountant or Accountancy degree.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and reporting practices.
- Familiarity with IFRS and Maltese tax/VAT regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Xero and/or QuickBooks is an asset.
- Experience in the iGaming sector is a plus.
