Full-Time Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team in Indapur, India. You will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with Indian accounting standards and local regulations.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and forecasts.
• Implement and maintain internal control systems.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Coordinate and lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, including GST requirements specific to Indapur.
• Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in Indian financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of various tax returns and statutory reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional certification such as CA, CPA, or CMA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles
• Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, tax laws, and GST regulations
• Familiarity with local tax regulations specific to Indapur, India
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Excel skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Outstanding attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team
• Knowledge of regional business practices and financial reporting requirements
