Trupanion is seeking a dynamic Accountant to assist with journal entries, account reconciliations, and analytics. This role involves collaborating across the finance team for monthly close tasks and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will be skilled in managing tasks with competing deadlines and have a passion for process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to monthly close in accordance with US GAAP.
- Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Work on ad-hoc special projects and analysis.
- Prepare internal and external deliverables for SEC reporting and audits.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- CPA preferred.
- 2-3 years of accounting experience required.
- Experience in a multi-entity environment is a plus.
Skills:
- Month-end close experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, Workday experience a plus.
- Strong analytical ability and detail oriented.
- Problem-solving and innovation skills.
Compensation: $68,000 - $80,000, plus bonuses and stock options.
