Our East Syracuse, NY laboratory is looking for a seasonal entry-level Accounting Assistant to join their team!
Job Functions:
- Researches client inquiries on invoices, payments, and account status
- Provides detailed extracts from databases
- Provides outcomes of prompt and thorough investigations
- Follows direction on priority
- Keeps excellent records of activity
- Communicates consistently with peers and supervisor on status of requests
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent and prior general working experience (Required)
- 1-2 years of accounts receivable experience (Preferred)
- Proficient English language skills (Required)
- Basic mathematical and reasoning skills (Required)
- Basic computer skills (Required)
This position pays $20/hr and is eligible for overtime.
In addition, your compensation package includes the following benefits:
- Participation in the Company’s benefit programs coincident or following the first of the month in which you are hired.
- Immediate eligibility to participate in the Company’s 401K Retirement Plan
- Paid vacation
- Four (4) floating holidays annually
- Seven (7) company observed holidays paid
