Accounting/Administrative Assistant
JOHNLEONARD has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting/Administrative Assistant to join our client’s friendly and inclusive team. This full-time Trust role is based in the firm’s Boston office and comes with an attractive salary range of $55K-$62K plus excellent benefits.
The Accounting/Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for the timely and accurate distribution of funds to and for the benefit of clients, including by check, wire, and ACH transfer.
In your first few weeks in this role, you can expect to:
- Process ad hoc and repetitive requests for payments
- Initiate wire and ACH transfers online to the designated bank and implement in-house transfers
- Maintain Positive Pay file with the bank
- Respond to client and attorney questions regarding distributions
To apply for this Accounting/Administrative Assistant role, your soft skills, expertise, and experience should include:
- A college degree and 2+ years of administrative experience with exposure to invoicing, accounts payable, and/or accounts receivable
- A good aptitude for working with numbers and the ability to work proficiently with necessary software programs
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- The ability to manage multiple responsibilities, set priorities, and work well under pressure
