Job Description
This role will lead and direct the activities of the accounts receivable team. Ensures client billings are issued timely and customer collections are followed up regularly. Requires a highly motivated individual with a proven background in billing and collections, and fundamental knowledge/experience with month-end close procedures, controls, analytics, foreign currency issues, and effective people/process management.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of Accounts Receivable function (billings, cash application, reconciliation, customer collections, cash flow optimization).
- Oversee Billing function (contractual deadlines, invoice review, revenue recognition).
- Effective communication with staff and departments involved in Billing/A/R.
- Oversee collections team, reporting aged receivables.
- Ensure timely billings to customers.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable accounts (A/R, unbilled receivables, bad debt), and resolve general ledger/project activity balance variances.
- Lead monthly meetings with sales RVPs to discuss client invoicing/past due amounts.
- Review/update bad debt provision quarterly and adjust audit memo annually.
- Review monthly Accounts Receivable flux analysis (P&L/BS) and provide final copy to Controller.
- Lead process improvement initiatives to resolve billing/revenue/A/R issues.
- Assist with audit requests and special projects.
- Communicate with key stakeholders (FP&A) and be key contact for internal/external auditors.
- Develop/maintain team performance (recruiting, coaching, performance management, team development).
- Generate revenue and AR reporting to leadership.
- Perform ad-hoc management requests/analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- 5+ years experience with full cycle accounts receivable (billings/collections).
- 5+ years experience managing staff.
- 5+ years experience with multiple entities/foreign exchange rates.
- 5+ years experience with various sales, VAT, GST schemes.
- Strong communication skills (all levels, including C-suite).
- Tech-savvy (NetSuite experience).
- SAAS company experience (preferred).
- Solution-oriented leadership skills, influencing management/contributors.
- US corporate structure experience (advantageous).
