The Ad Sales Technical Product Management Team enables NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales portfolio to drive revenue and growth. We collaborate through the life cycle of a product, including conceptualization, development, and commercialization.
Technical Product Manager (TPM) for AdSales BI: responsible for technical product management of multiple data products within Planning, Inventory Management, Strategy, and Finance AdSales domains. Requires understanding of the Ad Sales ecosystem.
Manages a product development roadmap.
May participate in special projects affecting other functional areas.
Product Management Pillars:
- Business Strategy and Objectives Alignment: Understands and articulates business objectives, priorities, and demands.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Effective solution delivery; ensures clarity in requirements, efficient technology processes, and a fluid development shop.
- Program Management: Plans, manages execution, communicates milestones and challenges, identifies risks, and mitigates them.
Job Duties:
- Sets product direction in partnership with business owners, based on company strategy, business goals, and user needs.
- Builds strong partnerships with stakeholders.
- Stays aligned with business initiatives' strategic goals and objectives.
- Drives holistic product development roadmaps.
- Analyzes business requirements, source systems, data sources, transformation requirements, data mapping, data model, and metadata for reporting solutions.
- Ensures high-level requirements are well-documented.
- Partners with product, engineering, and design teams for on-time feature delivery with traceability to user requirements.
- Defines and analyzes key performance metrics to identify opportunities, improve user experiences, and produce better results.
- Ensures product quality and adherence to company standards.
- Tracks and reports on product milestones and key deliverables.
- Manages and maintains Product 360 on a suite of products.
- Evaluates and documents technical product management processes.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Product Management experience
- 1+ year of experience with MicroStrategy (preferred), or similar reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- 1+ year of experience with Big Data, data integrations, data lakes, data governance, data analytics, relational data modeling, and data fabric architectures
- Experience interfacing with end users
- Strong knowledge of advertising sales, media marketplace, and technology trends
- Strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills

Salary: $100,000 - $110,000 (Yearly)
