We're looking for a meticulous Part-Qualified Accountant to manage our financial records and support our team.
Our ideal candidate is currently pursuing their accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) and is eager to continue their studies.
With superb numerical literacy and fantastic attention to detail, they excel in:
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Managing accounts payable/receivable
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations
They are comfortable and proactive in communicating with team members, external suppliers, and leadership, ensuring financial clarity and efficiency.
Your role:
- Maintain financial records in Xero for multiple entities (UK and Netherlands).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure all reporting and returns are completed accurately and on time.
- Manage accounts payable (reconciliation, tracking, and payments).
- Oversee accounts receivable (invoicing, statements, overdue accounts).
- Collaborate with management to improve financial processes.
What we're looking for:
- Currently pursuing an accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA).
- Past experience in maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable/receivable, and preparing financial statements.
- Experience preparing detailed financial reports.
- Good knowledge of accounting tools (specifically Xero).
- Superb numerical literacy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proactive approach to identify and resolve financial challenges.
What would be great (but isn't required):
- Experience in travel or high-growth startups.
- Desire to drive efficiency and automation.
- Advanced Excel or Airtable skills.
