About the role: You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, representing departmental needs. Strong strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills are essential to manage diverse initiatives and stakeholders. The team is focused on redefining the healthcare journey, delivering a member experience that changes the industry, ensuring members feel valued, supported, and empowered. You report to the Senior Manager, Member Experience Strategy.
Work Location: Oscar offers a blended work culture. If you live near our NYC, Tempe, or LA offices, you'll be expected to come into the office at least two days a week. Otherwise, the role is remote.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of cross-functional implementations/projects (plan creation, stakeholder engagement, cross-functional relationship management, risk mitigation, on-time completion).
- Evaluate department performance by analyzing data and metrics and supporting metric development and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders (internal & external) to create implementation, communication, and program strategies for successful change management and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Mentor and support the growth of team members.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in strategy/operations/program management
- 2+ years of experience leading end-to-end projects/programs independently and in teams
- Experience analyzing data and metrics to improve programs.
Bonus points:
- Fast-paced operations experience
- Healthcare experience (health insurance, health systems, or healthcare consulting)
- Successfully executed enterprise-wide initiatives (defined plans, resource coordination, implementation, process development)
- Experience in a member-facing role or member experience enhancement function.
