Full-Time Senior Proposal Writer

Position Summary: As a Senior Proposal Writer, you'll play a key role in driving business growth.

You'll apply proposal best practices to respond to client and prospect requests (RFPs, RFIs, BAFOs, etc.).

Your expertise will contribute to winning new business, renewing contracts, and representing AffirmedRx's commitment to excellence.

What you will do:

• Take ownership of assigned proposal tasks, managing day-to-day activities for high-quality work.
• Manage project timelines to ensure timely completion and adherence to deadlines.
• Use proposal collaboration tools to organize and populate content.
• Support supplemental projects and administrative tasks.
• Write, edit, and refine proposal content for clarity, relevance, and alignment with client needs.
• Research prospects to tailor content to their industry, challenges, and culture.
• Format and finalize proposals reflecting AffirmedRx's brand and professional standards.
• Review and copyedit materials for consistency and quality.
• Collaborate closely with proposal team members, Sales, Pricing, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Partner with internal teams to create visually compelling graphical representations.
• Update proposal databases for accuracy and currency.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in proposal development processes.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with proposal guidelines.
• Maintain a proactive approach to refining workflows for efficiency.
• Ensure all deliverables meet AffirmedRx's high standards.

What you need:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of proposal writing experience, preferably in PBM or healthcare.
• Strong service-oriented mindset, high personal standards, and a proactive work style.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, professional demeanor, and effective collaboration skills.
• APMP membership or willingness to obtain it.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
