About The Role:

Mochi Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Billing Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our billing operations. This critical role ensures that our billing processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with our mission of making healthcare accessible and affordable. The Billing Manager will be a key player in our financial operations, supporting our commitment to delivering top-notch patient care by managing revenue cycle processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Manage the entire billing process, ensuring claims are submitted accurately, resubmissions and denials are dealt with promptly, and payments are processed efficiently
• Monitor and analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of billing systems with organizational software
• Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance metrics, address challenges, and celebrate successes
• Maintain clear communication with patients, addressing any concerns related to billing and enhancing their experience
• Work closely with leadership to ensure alignment between billing operations and financial objectives
• Provide ongoing training and support to the billing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims

Who You Are:

• You hold a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, or a related field
• You have at least 3 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, preferably in telehealth
• You possess strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, insurance processes, and coding standards
• You have proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment
• You are analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities
• You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach
• You have experience with EMR and RCM software, and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new technologies
• You are committed to delivering excellence and innovation in healthcare billing operations
