Full-Time Bookkeeper

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct GAAP financial reporting
• Reconcile company bank accounts and balance sheets
• Reconcile American Express and E-commerce sales
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting and accounting procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records throughout the year
• Assist CPA with month-end closing procedures
• Post transactions to accounting records
• Assist with audits, fact checks, and discrepancy resolution
• Backup for bi-weekly payroll processing, as needed
• Prepare financial reports when required

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
• Based out of the Florida area – comfortable working remotely
• Comfortable with part-time hours (approximately 30 hours weekly)
• 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, bank and credit card reconciliations, and month end
• QuickBooks proficiency required
• Working knowledge of MS Office programs
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
